WE've come a long way
Founded in the 1990's, The Wollondilly Basketball Association (WBA) are a local basketball association with over 210 athletes who play as the Wollondilly Razorbacks.
Our association has a proud history of over 30 years, providing the Wollondilly Shire the opportunity to participate in the fantastic game of basketball.

Our Story
Wollondilly Basketball Association is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to growing the game of basketball in the Wollondilly Shire. All funds are raised through sponsorships, fundraising efforts, and player fees — and are reinvested directly into our teams, facilities, uniforms, and development programs.
​
Social basketball training and games are held at the Wollondilly Leisure Centre in Picton, where our representative teams — the Wollondilly Razorbacks — compete in the Barrengarry Conference, giving local players the chance to represent their region.
​
In addition, the Razorbacks also field teams in the Southern Junior League, offering players further opportunities to grow their skills and compete against teams from across the Southern region. Since entering our first representative team in 2023, we've continued to build experience and momentum each year — and we’ve been fortunate to see some of our teams crowned champions in their respective divisions
Life Members
Life Membership is the highest honour awarded by the Wollondilly Basketball Association. It recognises individuals who have made an exceptional and lasting contribution to the growth, development, and success of our Association.

Recipients of Life Membership have demonstrated significant, sustained, and high-quality service, consistently enhancing the reputation and future of basketball within the Wollondilly community.

Meet The WBA BOARD
The Wollondilly Basketball Association Board is made up of dedicated volunteers, elected annually at our Annual General Meeting held each August.

Some of our Board Members have been with the Association since its inception, while others have joined more recently. What unites us is a shared passion and a common goal: to grow the game of basketball in the Wollondilly Shire and to provide all athletes with a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and growth-focused experience.

We strongly encourage parents and community members to get involved. Whether it’s through volunteering, joining a committee, or becoming a member, your contribution helps us continue to thrive.
